Dissection Template

This is an opportunity not to be missed!

Animal dissections are brilliant – better than most human dissections – because the bodies are not embalmed. That means that the really important stuff, such as fascia, ligaments and connective tissue, are all intact.

You have the opportunity to see the true relationship between all those structures, and you can relate them directly to your patients, whether they are animal or human.

This full-day course takes place on Saturday 15 June, near Kimblewick, Aylesbury (OX27 9BT). It will be delivered by Claire Short and Hannah Lawrence, both osteopaths who are highly experienced in dissections and renowned for their ability to put what you see into clinical perspective.

This is an opportunity for you focus down on exactly what you want to know about the body: fascia, ligaments, greater omentum, your favourite muscles…whatever intrigues you most. It will be a brilliant day!

We’ll be working on a horse with quite a history, so you’re likely to see some very interesting stuff.

Some Reassurance:The horse is not being put to sleep for our course. The animal is very old and the owner knows it’s time to make that difficult decision (that’s also the reason for the relatively short notice). The owner very kindly wants to donate the body to us so that we can all learn more.

Book now – our courses sell out almost as quickly as Glastonbury!
