We are looking for a chiropractor/ osteopath to join our team at Backworks.
Backworks is a long-established clinic based on the South Essex coast with London on the doorstep. We have been established in Southend on Sea for over 25 years. Southend, recently awarded city status, has lots to offer with its coastline, woodland and city centre providing an abundance of activities, entertainment, culture and sport. Local Southend airport is 15 minutes from the clinic, which, before COVID, was flying to a multitude of destinations around Europe.
At Backworks we pride ourselves on honest healthcare, utilising ethical practices to build a patient base. We use primarily diversified adjusting complimented by soft tissue work and other techniques such as acupuncture, taping and IASTM, to name a few. Rehabilitation and lifestyle advice are also a strong part of the care we offer to our patients.
We see a diverse range of patients and complaints, from athletes to the elderly and acute pain to complex chronic cases. We focus on patient goals, whether that is pain relief or functional performance.
We have strong relationships with local GPs, consultants, physiotherapists and trainers, which we are constantly seeking to build upon. Our principal chiropractor also works closely with local sports teams, including Southend United FC and West Ham United Women’s FC.

Our clinic is a fun, professional environment, and we are looking for someone to fit into this ethos.
This will be a full-time employed position, which includes some evening and Saturday hours due to high patient demand. Working across two locations may be a possibility.
We offer regular structured in-house training with our two senior chiropractors, who have over 20 years of experience between them, helping you to achieve your personal development goals. Some external CPD will be offered. Support with GCC/ GOC fees will be considered for the right candidate.
