EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND
Position: Associate required for maternity cover / permanent part time position within my busy, well established clinic (17 years) in Edinburgh and Loanhead. The person leaving works in another busy clinic close by in Edinburgh so there is the possibility of additional work there too. Start date is from the beginning of April onwards and happy to wait for new graduates.
Renumeration: This is on a generous percentage basis to ensure that it is worthwhile for the Associate.
Skills: Ideally the person would use a combination of structural and cranial osteopathy. Dry needling would be beneficial too, but not essential.
Bookings: We are a paper based practice with no receptionist, and so you would be expected to rebook patients after each appointment. All other appointments would be managed by the Principal.
Support: Although at Loanhead (and the other potential clinic) you would be by yourself when working, clinical support is always available from the Principal as needed. Edinburgh has a regularly active local CPD group who meet throughout the year, as well as the regional Scottish Osteopathic Society, and there is a friendly atmosphere between the profession here.
Edinburgh is a wonderful small capital city but feels like you are in the countryside. Easy access to the sea, hills and beautiful outdoors spaces not to mention a vibrant city centre with a year long calendar of cultural and sporting events (usually!). When transport is allowed there are also good international connections from Edinburgh and Glasgow (50 minutes away) airports.
