CLINIC FIRST AID

Thanks for letting us know that you’re interested in future courses. We’ll be setting another one up in the near future, and we’ll make sure that you get advance notice of the date.

In the meantime, you might find the information below useful, so that you have an idea of what the course entails.

Timings*, Grub

9:00am – 12:30pm
1:30pm – 4:15pm

Lunch is up to you(!), but we’ll also have a short break midway through the sessions for tea and biscuits.

What to Wear

It’s up to you, but bear in mind that you’re going to be doing some practical stuff on the floor.

*These timings may have to vary, depending on our lockdown CPD programme.

Help

You’re going to need another person in the house for you to practise a couple of techniques on – it doesn’t matter if it’s an adult or a young person (but they need to be old enough to do as they’re told!).

It’s very hard to be precise about timings, but this is when we estimate that you’ll need your assistant*:

10:15 (15 minutes)
11:45 (20 minutes)
14:45 (10 minutes)

We’ll do our absolute best to keep to those times!

Technology

You’ll need a computer with a camera and a microphone. You’ll also need an internet connection.

Zoom: we’ll send you a link to the Zoom room prior to the event.

IMPORTANT

This course will be delivered online and will be recorded by The Academy of Physical Medicine. That recording is for internal quality control and will not be shared with other people.

It is a condition of attending the course that you do not record the material yourself, or take screenshots of any part of the course
